Modernization of road weather stations on the A1 motorway

TELWAY Sp. z o.o. has completed the modernization of road weather stations along the concession section of the A1 Gdańsk - Toruń motorway. The operator of the section is Intertoll Polska Sp. z o.o.

The modernization consisted in replacing the DRI521 (ROSA) with DMU703/DRI701 interfaces. The replacement was caused by the end of production and support period for ROSA weather stations by their manufacturer, VAISALA company. ROSA weather stations have been present on the market since the eighties of the last century and have been operating on the A1 motorway since 2008. Their successors are components of the road weather station RWS200, produced by VAISALA since the middle of the last decade.
